Stuart and Ethan McDougall from the Bee Sanctuary team rescue a very young colony of bees from inside a decorative pot in the suburb of Northriding, Johannesburg, South Africa. A simple bee removal that ended in a lengthy transition from the beevac into the fixed bottom hive box. We haven’t used fixed bottom hives before this and so we tried something new.
