25 Sep Honeybees Collected and Moved in their original home
Bee removal from a decorative pot, where we removed the pot with the bees still in.
We collected this colony of African honeybees in the pot they chose to make their home and moved them in the pot to the new home.
Stuart and Ethan McDougall from Bee Sanctuary (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbwF_Fq_G-42YpM0_ByC3Sw) team rescue a very young colony of bees from inside a decorative pot in the suburb of Centurion, Pretoria, South Africa. Sometimes the bee removals we do are challenging, and sometimes they can be really simple. Every removal is different and presents its own elements of joy and challenges. We had the opportunity to teleport a colony of bees in their new home to a new location and provide them with better accommodation.
